SBP-BRiMS is a multidisciplinary conference with focuses on social computing and cultural behavioral modeling. Both social computing and cultural behavioral modeling are techniques designed to achieve a better understanding of complex behaviors, patterns, and associated outcomes of interest. Moreover, these approaches are inherently interdisciplinary; subsystems and system components exist at multiple levels of analysis (i.e., "cells to societies") and across multiple disciplines, from engineering and the computational sciences to the social and health sciences. Given its interdisciplinary nature, SBP-BRiMS has attracted participants from multiple disciplines and has been supported by various funding agencies such as Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), Office of Naval Research (ONR), National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and The Army Research Office (ARO). A list of our current Sponsors can be found via http://sbp-brims.org/2017/sponsors/.
Our sponsors can use SBP-BRiMS to discuss with the funding agents, and meet and hire the leading data scientists with interdisciplinary research experiences of our generation. The sponsors can support SBP-BRiMS through specific receptions, coffee breaks, AV and computers, student travel grants and other items. We will work with you if you have a particular budget, a specific sponsor idea, or if you need assistance in creating a presence at the meeting. All sponsors are acknowledged in the final program and on the conference website. A detailed sponsorship opportunities are listed below.
