Disinformation Challenge

Overview

The challenge problem is to address a scientific or policy question using the delphi data (https://delphi.cmu.edu/) and computational social science methods. You may address any question of interest to you. Example questions are:

  • How do mandates impact vaccination?
  • Does the level of disinformation impact facemask wearing?

You may add other data, but you must use delphi data as a dominant data set. All types of methodologic approaches are acceptable: a simulation model, an agent-based model, a machine learning model, a statistical analysis, a social network analysis, or other.
